Actividad cultural/lingüística: Una noche con Cristina García

Please join us for a reading by acclaimed novelist CRISTINA GARCIA on Wednesday, October 3, 7:30 P.M. in McLaren 250.

Cristina García was born in Havana and grew up in New York City. Her first novel, Dreaming in Cuban, was nominated for a National Book Award and has been widely translated. García has been a Guggenheim Fellow, a Hodder Fellow at Princeton University, and the recipient of a Whiting Writers' Award. Her newest novel is A Handbook to Luck. She lives in Napa Valley.

This event is sponsored by the MFA in Writing Program's Readings at Lone Mountain series, and is co-sponsored by the President's Office and the Dean's Office. It is free and open to the public. Please let students and colleagues know.
